Butterscotch Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies recipe
We’ve taken nutty, earthy oatmeal cookies and jazzed them up with butterscotch and chocolate chips—you’ll have to try them to believe them.
Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
½ cup packed dark brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon salt
3 cups rolled oats
¾ cup chocolate chips
¾ cup butterscotch chips
Directions:
1) Preheat oven to 375°F.
2) In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugars until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
3) In a separate large bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Slowly add flour mixture to butter mixture, mixing until just blended. Add oats and chips; mix well.
4) Drop mixture by the teaspoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake about 10 minutes, until cookies just brown.
